Sell 911 is a real estate company founded by Chris and Missy Buttrum. We’re a family owned business that focuses on helping homeowners, like you, get out of an unwanted house whether you’re going through a foreclosure, can’t sell your property, or just need to sell their house for all kinds of reasons.

LOCAL, Family-Owned Company

Before Chris and Missy founded Sell 911, our journey started when Chris was a young agent working with banks to assist with foreclosures and short sales. He listed the properties and negotiated directly with the banks on behalf of his clients. It all seemed great at first, until Chris started to see the confusing side of real estate.



Chris saw buyers unsure what the right price for a property was and sellers equally confused with their home’s value. Chris knew there was a better way, and with his wife, Missy, they founded HomeWire Realty and Sell911. We developed Sell911 specifically to create an even playing field for everyone and brought transparency to the real estate transaction.

Real Estate Expert!

For over 19 years, Chris Buttrum has worked in the real estate and investing worlds, starting with his first rehab back in 2001. As the co-owner of HomeWire Realty with his wife, they now have over 30 agents working nationwide on their team, all committed to the same mission: bringing transparency and honesty to real estate, an industry that far too often is filled with misconceptions and disappointments.

From Tupperware to Real Estate!

In 2016, Missy became a real estate broker and took over the managerial operations of their now-growing brokerage of almost 30 agents across 4 states. She was also heavily involved with her husband Chris in investing in homes, finding deals for themselves, and working with buyers. She witnessed many of her buyers missing out on homes and being outbid by others, not knowing what the other bids were, which led to the creation of Sell 911.

Scott Neal

Real Estate Expert!

Initially an engineer, Scott always dreamed of getting into real estate and having rental properties. Like a lot of people, he always watched shows on rehabbing and remodeling houses, which only solidified his interest. His role within Sell 911 Tennessee is to work with clients to evaluate properties and determine options that we can offer. As a former Real Estate Agent, experience in rehabbing houses, and professional know-how, Scott knows the market inside and out. Whether you want to list your house or sell it to us directly, Scott’s the ultimate resource.

Sara Neal

From Healthcare to Housing!

Sara worked as a nurse for over 18 years and found joy in helping people. Like her husband, she has always been very interested in real estate and quickly became a valuable resource. Currently, her main role within the company is helping pre-screen and set appointments. She has seen her level of involvement increase to the point that she took realtor training to be more valuable and provide the best service we can to their customers who need to sell fast for cash.

She is so excited to see their business grow to better help people and families.
